"I was searching for an answer in my mind,
I pondered on, thought through and yet couldn’t find,
I tried looking for it in my prayers, or all the holy books I read,
I spoke to people, went for sermons, and yet didn’t find what I seek.
My mind was in a state of chaos and my heart was never at peace,
Until one day this wisdom dawned on me which immediately set me at ease..
This pearl of wisdom which all of us have known from the very start,
That if you don’t find your answers in your mind, often they lie in your heart!"

hmmmm....
wah wah wah wah!!!
kisi ne arz kiya hai "aankhien teri...itni haseen...ki inka ashiq..main ban gaya hun...maula mere ...maula mere...maula mere ...maula mere"
Life is not a bed of roses, But not a bed of doses either.
Live it the way you like, cash it the way you want.
Lets see then, whether its a term you HAVE to abide...
Problems do come, but solutions follow,
But NOT with those who act slow.
Stay calm but dont be late,
Then you will be the one others adulate...
Dont get tired, dont you lose
You wont get another chance as an excuse.
This is the first, this is the last
So do it right,do it fast.
The better you perform, the better you play,
The more you will LIVE everyday...
This is a special one i composed for a special one...
You entered my life, didn’t realize when, how and why…but it has changed since then…no wonder why…
You stood by me whenever I needed you…you were there when I dreamt of you…you have been so kind…one of the few on whom I rely…
When I turn back to see how it has been…I find us being hesitant but always willing to try…
It has been a while with you, sharing more moments of happiness and less of pain…Those coffees, those long walks, those senseless movies…everything seemed perfect even in vain…
I feel special being with a nut like you who is still waiting for the right time to say what he feels everyday…
Thats a very 'romantic' vision of reality. But yeah some pple call it the 'gut' some ppl call it 'heart'.
thank you Vandita for the comments. As always, a pleasure to read your comments! and totally love that stuff you wrote for "someone special" Guess we all know who he is!!
Thank you aaditya, for revisiting my blog and leaving your comment. Totally agree that ones gut feeling is called by different names. And maybe somewhere I am getting a very romanticaly skewed version of reality. But then I believe there is a little more to life than plain logic and reasons. You can only think as much, and plan as far. What really makes you come alive are your feelings which has to come from within. Offlate, I have been looking for answers within my heart and not my mind. :)
Following your instinct often, or at least sometimes, comes at a price. And which calls for the courage to be different from what we have learnt to be over the years.
And a lot of times, a lot of people, do not want to pay this price...
There is an anti thought to what you say...
It's a short life, and most of the times it is not 'wise' to pay that price and listen to your heart.
Point in perspective, life's situations are always best dealt with using a mix...and in this particular case, searching the answer from the heart and the mind.
Thank you ritendra for sharing your opinions. Yes, I agree with the fact that we pay a "price" for following our dreams, or dancing to our own tunes! Many a times we regret those decisions. But thats a chance we all are willing to take because maybe somewhere we do that little trade off between what we pay and what we CAN win. Maybe sometimes we have to look beyond the obvious, look beyond plain reasons and logics to have a much complete existence.
As for the anti thought: I whole heartedly agree with what you say but then there are points in your life when your mind and your heart are not in tune with each other, and you know you can go with only one of the two. I just had this "romantic" illusion that if your mind isn't leading you to the right answer, then maybe your heart has a key...
"if your mind isn't leading you to the right answer, then maybe your heart has a key"
or rather..."if your mind isn't leading you anywhere convincing, then maybe your heart has a key"...because the point at which we look to our heart for answers, I think, is when we are very much confused in our minds or simply not ready to accept what the mind has to say! :)
Thank you Raj for the comment. I agree with what you say. Maybe, when our mind stops answering we turn to our heart for some wisdom. And trust me, its not all that bad to do so! :)
